Got email from BOCO regarding Chiago Unifieds. Chicago Unifieds will be virtual for them this year. The email said they were asked to keep the original dates and times so as not to conflict with other schools.
The dance portion of the audition was changed to be one hour and they are asking for 2 dance videos to be submitted in addition.
@mtmamapapa we have the same question. She already did her audition but we were able to pick and date and do the audition without paying- at least i think so?! I guess we could contact GA and ask? Not sure what to do âŠ
I am not sure who to ask because it involves several programs. It is more of a question for people who work with Acceptedâs Audition Room but I canât seem to get a live person/means to speak to anyone.
Hi! I was reading this thread and came across his post. Does that mean that getting past the pre-screen to audition stage for SMTD BFA Acting means that the applicant will also be accepted to the university (LSA), regardless of whether he or she ultimately gets a spot in the BFA program?
@TessinMD No, getting past the academic prescreen to audition for BFA in Acting at U of Michigan does NOT mean if not accepted to the BFA in Acting, that you ill be offered a spot in LSA at Michigan. You simply were screened to see if your academics might be admissible if accepted for the Acting program. You did NOT get accepted to Michigan for liberal arts. You can apply to LSA separately if you wish though. But you canât be admitted to LSA by applying to SMTD BFA Acting.

No, it doesnât. You have to dual-apply for LSA and SMTD if you want to have an opportunity to attend LSA. (Sorry that was in response to @TessinMD - I am in agreement with @soozievt .)

Anyone headed to NYC this weekend for BFA auditions? My daughter has Fordham and Syracuse live auditions and Ithaca as well, though it moved to virtual.

My D is in NYC on Sunday for UNCSA - she did Syracuse virtual, with an interview sometime this week. Most of her auditions went remote- only 3/4 still in person. BAL!
