21% Jump in ED Applicants

http://ivysuccess.com/upenn_2010.html

Everyone should read that.

UPenn received 4,148 early undergraduate applications for the Class of 2010, a 21 percent increase from last year’s 3,420.

I believe they accepted 1169 students ED last year… so hopefully I’m doing the math correctly, as I was just accepted ED to Penn for mathematics.

Class of 2009 ED Acceptance: 1169/3420 = 34.18% (About 1 out of 3 accepted)

Since Mr. Stetson believes that 47% (roughly the same as last year) of the class the class of 2010 will be made up of ED students, Im going to assume the following.

**Class of 2010 ED Acceptance/b: 1169/4148 = 28.18 % (Closer to 1 out of 4 accepted)

Just something to ponder.

UPENN 2010!
It rhymes.

Theoretical or applied math?

Applied. Theoretical can be fun, but applied is what makes a defference in the world. I love both though.

I guess you missed the ED freak-out when this was posted a month ago. But good to hear you got in.

yeah definitely missed that

eek.

NOW I LOOK STUPID
