2200 sat??

Hi guys

SO i just took the SAT in January 2009, and my stats were: 640 CR, 760 Math, 800 writing.
Should I retake? i'm afraid the CR is going to be a big flaw in my admissions factor...

It's a great overall score, but many colleges still look only at CR + Math. 1400 is still top 2-3 percentile I'm guessing, but there's not too much harm in a retake as CR can be pretty easily learned (and you don't need to study :P).

I'd say, if the 640 was writing, don't bother, or if you had even 730's... but since the 1600 SAT system is still prevalent you might want to retake depending on where you want to go.

^agreed. but congrats anyway though!

haha pretty much same with me
670 CR, 800 M, 770 W
if you are applying to selective schools you might want to retake it, which is probably what i'll end up doing

Hmm... I would not retake it.

I got 2200 too (690CR 790M 720W). It's an 80 pts improvement from the October test. Retaking it shouldn't do any harm as long as your score is not above 2300, and I probably will take it (probably in June so I can have the preparation of all the AP Exams) for Yale.

Another similar score right here. (CR 670 M 800 W 780) I would take it again, since you aren't a senior like I am :P
