Exigent, where did you learn the material for the Math IIC and Chemistry SATs?

^ i want to know that also..

Well, the Chemistry one was through the AP Chemistry course at my high school (it's in walking distance of my middle school, so I could schedule it in). Math IIC is just pre-calculus, right? I learned that somewhere along the lines of 6th grade. But I did study with guides like Princeton Review and Barrons...

fcking lucky.. the most advanced math I could take in 6th grade was something like "if x=2, what is 3x?"

o_0

I certainly hope you luck out. I took it in 7th grade, and asked them to save my score, I think it was a 1560 or 70, and then they went and changed it, so I had to take it again. It really stinks. But I think that taking it in middle school is a good idea, there are a lot more things that can draw away your attention in High school, and getting something like the SAT or ACT out of the way early can be really helpful.

I'm sure you scored just as high if not higher the second time?

Anyways, I already talked to collegeboard, and they complied.

Get off the computer and find a passion. The test scores are great, god gave you a wonderful gift, go do things! The next few years go by very quickly. Good Luck & Congrats

God in Heaven....That's higher than I got as a junior.

If I were you, I wouldn't worry too much about saving those scores. If you scored that high as an eighth grader, your almost certain to get over 2300 as a junior or senior, and colleges tend to pay more attention to SATs taken in high school anyway.

...you're kidding right? a 2350 and 2380 in eight grade? ...are you guys really serious...wow i'm not going to make fun of you guys because you got a score like this in eight grade, but dude you guys are like freaking child prodigies.

You guys could do with a big ol' cup of humble soup. If you guys really got the scores you said you did then you are extremely intelligent, but you're jerks for showing off and putting the other people on this forum down; you're using your abilities for EVIL! And don't try saying you were looking for an honest opinion because you can easily look at collegeboard.com and see that your scores are above average for the schools, and it's common sense that if you think you can do better your junior year, then you should retake it; you don't need someone to tell you that. I hope the adcoms can see through people like you.

Harvard is an incredibly selective school and a 1490/1600 doesn't assure that you will be admitted. You should surely retake the test. What can it hurt?

hmmm that's cool well I got a 2450 in 6th grade... should I save those scores? Is that good enough? Maybe ill post it on an online forum?

Why would you even take that test in 8th grade? do you have nothing better to do?

Didn't he say it was for CTY? OR I'm assuming for some program.

if ur still an 8th grade who hasnt grown pubes yet, dont post on here

Yeah I know. I'm just kinda bitter that people on college confidential are so much gifted that the average applicants
