2270 SAT--take ACT?

790 M, 730 CR, 750 W (8 Essay) - 1 sitting, also superscore

I'm a junior right now, and this was the 3rd time I took the SAT, and I heard I shouldn't take it again. I took it once sophomore year, twice this year.

Is this a good enough score for CalTech, Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, MIT, Princeton, Stanford, and UC Berkeley? (These are my "reach" schools, so I still also have some safeties that I'm going to be applying to.)

I'm not really aiming for a score that is going to be beneficial to my application, per se, but just one that won't be deleterious.

I'm thinking about taking the ACT, since I'm more math/science oriented--if this score isn't good enough, I think I'll go for that.

Should I take the ACT or just keep this SAT score?

It should be fine, 4 sittings of the SAT sort of raises flags for colleges.

higher the sat score is, the less relevant it is. for top tier schools, over a 2200 is fine.
