2nd Semester Senior Year...

OK, I got into UM and Ross, however I am not doing to well in AP Phyiscs... What does it take to get you admission revoked? =\ Will a C kill me? What should I worry about?

One C won't kill you, especially since its AP Physics...but I would stay out of the D range.

Thanks.... Slacked off for a litte bit there, need to get my grade back up a little bit.

Make sure you keep your grades to mostly B's and A's. A C won't hurt you. Multiple C's or a D will cause them to send a letter threatening your expulsion from the class and demanding an explanation. One of my friends got one and he just wrote a letter explaining his college indecision and AP scores. It's not pleasant though.

Just do your best. They'll be forgiving about a tough class or tough courseload getting the better of you. What they tend to crack down on are students who appear to be letting everything slide and who don't consider the role that 8th semester plays in finishing their preparation for college. If they ask (and they might), you need to be honest and contrite and accountable. But I doubt one lower grade in a tough AP class is going to truly put your admittance at risk.

I know a girl who got a D in second semester AP Chem. They revoked her admission, but her other grades could have been shotty too. Her teacher sent in a letter and she got back in. Just stay out of the D range. A C isn't going to get you kicked out.
