8th Grade (Honors Classes) - 92 + 76

9th - 3.05 GPA
10th - 3.5 GPA
11th - 3.67 GPA

How would colleges look at this?
Lets say the average student accepted at a university had a 3.45 GPA?

Thanks in advance

Well there is a strong upward trend, and the 3.5/3.67 was probably attained during a more rigorous schedule. The 3.05 isn’t going to be helpful, but I doubt it will crush any dreams within the 35.-3.6 range. Of course, the GPA would have to be in the perspective of class rank, and then counted alongside SAT’s/ACT’s, EC’s, and essays. So I wouldn’t be too concerned, unless you’re looking at extremely competitive schools (which in case a 3.67 gpa probably won’t cut it). Plus, I think there’re some schools that don’t even figure in freshman gpa.
