Hey guys,

I'm considering applying to Georgetown rd, but only under one condition: is it possible to participate in the 3-2 engineering program with Columbia from the business school? I know they have the program in the college, but I haven't been able to find any info from the business school.

Thanks!

Also, would you recommend calling admissions to ask this question or directly calling McDonough?

I would suggest finding it on their website. Admissions doesn’t want to be bothered by a question that can most likely be answered elsewhere.

That’s why I’m asking here first. I’ve already searched through the website for admissions, Georgetown college, and the McDonough school. I would hate to post or call about a question with answers that can obviously be found elsewhere. Since this is a rather specific scenario I suppose I’ll call tomorrow to confirm unless someone here has already had this same question answered! =)

At Georgetown’s campus information session, they specifically told us that it would be a waste of time to try the 3-2 engineering program (edit: that is, if you ALREADY have plans of going into engineering). Can’t you just take business classes while going through an engineering program at another school? (UPenn comes to mind)

I know this is late, but you absolutely can. I know somebody that is going to Columbia next year for the 3-2 program from MSB

Thanks! I’ll definitely apply to the business school then.
