3.6 good enough for Finance internship?

Im currently a junior at Penn State lookin to get a finance related internship for this summer. I have a 3.6 cumulative gpa. Past work exp - basically helped to manage a small landscaping company for about 2.5 years. I did everything from billing/receiving payments from clients, keeping the books, etc.

I just applied to about 15 different companies. What r my chances of landing one?

3.6 should be alright. Securing a finance internship shouldn’t be that hard, depending on which company you want to intern for…

Landing an internship isn’t just about grades. Your GPA gets you in the door, but you need to know how to network and interview well to get the jobs.
3.6 GPA and working for a landscaping company…you are undervalued! A friend of mine just got an internship (finance) in China, and he will work in investment banking…that is what he used to find the positions: http://www.china4future.com…he told me China has many great internship opportunities…you work on investment banking deals, no billing clerk work!
