3 breadth classes for incoming freshman?

I'm hopefully majoring in business (Haas) so this is my proposed schedule:

math1a
sociology
anthropology
+ another breadth req? (probably for p/np)

Is taking 3 breadth courses advisable or should I fill my 4th class with a seminar? Open to comments and/or suggestions!

I'd go for a freshman seminar, unless if you know Math 1A backwards and forwards already.

switch to math 16 if you're haas bound

But most of the freshmen seminars are already filled... and the ones that are not don't really interest me. Any other ideas?

Thanks for the math suggestion. I've heard that the 16 series is easier from others too. I'll look into that!

If you know you're Haas bound and your alternative majors don't require the Math 1A-1B series, then I would take Math 16A because it is easier. Since most of the freshman seminars are filled, I don't think it's too bad to do 3 breadth because you need it and it will get you interested in new topics and possible backup majors.

With that schedule, you could add another 4 units if you wanted to. I would advise an R&C Course over Breadth if you haven't already completed that requirement, though that may be tackling too much.

If none of the Freshmen Seminars interest you, don't take one. L&S recently added a 1-unit course in Entrepreneurship that may interest you- given your business inclinations.

But really, it's up to you.

If your backup major is Econ, I think it might be better to take the 1-series. I heard you need some higher math for Econ and you can only go into that with the 1-series.

Is it stupid to take 3 AC classes? I heard AC classes have a lot of reading?

Sociology3ac
Anthropology2ac
ESPM 50ac

They fill breadth requirements...
