My roommate was a bio major and she had three in one day but she was a genius who also never procrastinated in her life (she would read things 2 weeks in advance, get up at 8 am to do homework on days off school and weekends, etc)...so she was alright. But if this is your first quarter, bad idea. Having two in one day is bad enough.

I support what cocoa wrote. Unless you are not a procrastinator and are extremely motivated, don't do it. It's difficult to study for 3 exams if you are going to do it for 2 days straight, even if you study non-stop.

I would do it since I am motivated though, and I want to get finals done ASAP. Stamina is not a factor. You have external sources (energy drinks) which keep you fine.

I did 2 finals in one day Winter Quarter. If you plan ahead in advance enough and take care of yourself the last couple of days before those exams, you should be able to do it.

i had two finals in one day my first quarter (ls 15 and physics 10). it was fine. well, not fine, cuz i was slightly sick, but it woulda been alright without that xD

two is ok if you have a break in between. if they're back to back, make sure they aren't both going to be strenuous finals. three in one day, under NO circumstances, should be attempted your first quarter! wait until you see what a final exam is really like. or even two in a day. three in a day... man... don't burn yourself out!

ok thanks everyone...I will drop chem153A. LS2 final is 3-6PM and chem 153A is 6:30-9:30 PM  haha..I think I will be fine w/ hist 9E from 8-11am and LS2

^ HAHA.

I had three finals scheduled for the same day my winter quarter... but one of them ended up being a take home essay/final, and the professor for the second class let me take the final a day early, so it all worked out beautifully. :)

I had two finals back to back and they were both intense. The first one was math and there were so many questions that I didnt even have time to bother checking. This led me into my next intense class and I was so drained I could not even recall what I really studied.

I dont even recommend 2 finals in a day, but I do procrastinate a bit. If it ever happens again, I will know what to do, but regardless of my preparation or lack of procrastination, I will try to never have two finals in a day. All the preparation in the world won't help me if I have heavy mental strain from a final.

I had three midterms back-to-back in one day. That was the worst day of my life! I lost feelings in my legs. I cannot imagine people going through that hell again, much less finals. Unless you are one of the exceptional few.

rushrules1, finals are like 3 hours long though. so three finals would be 9 hours and imo, id rather study one subject and take a 12 hour final than study three subjects and take 3 different finals. but thats just me
