What would the score be if I get 3 wrong on New SAT critical reading and nothing left blank?

Approximately 770

That's what got me a 770.

In March, that got me a 770.

In March, two wrong got me an 800. I didn't omit any. Maybe the scale changed?

June: 3 Wrong 0 Omit
Score: 740

^^^^^^^^^^^
that sucks

Three wrong is a two increment change from two wrong in the scale. Think about rounding.

damn guys. the best i've gotten is 5 wrongs... needa work on this

yes, get less wrongs and your score may improve. =)

Hey does anyone want to attempt to give a rough raw-score conversion scale? I don't really trust PR or other companies, but TCB's blue book is too broad.

Have you looked at the released score conversion table for the March test? The March test is now avaliable as the Pre-Test on the CB site and you can also download a pdf with the answers, scoring instructions and a score conversion table.

tanman, can you post up a link. I've looked on College Board's website, but I don't think I got the right one.

T h a n k s

zh0u is mistaken. When I took the June test, 3 wrong on CR was a 750.

zh0u probably missed a different 3 questions, and they might weight each differently. I have no idea what they do with their fancy calculations, but maybe if zh0u missed an 'easy' question and you missed a 'hard' question, you would get a higher score?

I'm so glad I'm done with these things

No tkm, they do not do that. Getting an easy wrong is the same as getting a hard wrong. However, different versions of the test, which differ in difficulties, may have different curves.

woot i just did a set and got only 3 wrongs too !! and one of the questoins was a SC. the first SC i've gotten wrong in like the past 8 sets... but this is an absolute break thru for me.. woot!

How the hell could that discrepancy happen?
