3rd time-- Should I cancel my score?

I just took the SAT for the third time, but I don't think I broke 2300... One of the times was in ninth... Will colleges still count it against me?

Freshman- 1950 700 WR, 570 math, 690 CR

Junior (November)- 2170 800 WR, 630 math, 740 CR

Junior (January)- Predicting an 800 WR, 690 math, 770 CR

That only get me 2260. Should I throw away the score that is likely a 2200+ or keep it and take it a fourth time?

i think you should keep the 2200+ unless you are sure that you can do better than that

Hey I’m in a similar situation as you. As a junior, I just took the SATs in January after having taken it twice (Sophomore - May 2170) and (Junior - December 2190). Aiming for over 2300, I’m hoping that my score will atleast be over 2250.

For me, if I don’t pass 2250, I’m going to give the ACTs a shot in April. I heard they are a bit easier and less tricky than the SATs, and students who do well in high school courses tend to do just as well in the ACTs.

I think you’ll do well on the ACT, since your WR and CR scores seem pretty solid. But then again, let’s hope (for both of us) that the results will be satisfactory. Good luck!

I’m guessing you’re NOT an Asian
