What was the answer to the first question on fermentation?

was like "which ones undergo fermentation?"

What was the answer to the first question on fermentation?

was like "which ones undergo fermentation?"

yup that looks good iin

it underwent fermentation as long as there was a plus under the CO2 column or something, maybe not but it had something to do with whether or not the cell has a +, i remember it said in the passage i just cant remember specifically

what was the LAST question on the entire test??? like it showed you four pictures and you had to pick one . please be C or H. cuz that's what i guessed

it was d or j... all nucleotides in dna

Question: how did you guys solve the transmitter math one (answer: 12)?

Well, I mainly drew a diagram, but you can think logically about it too. The distance between the two stations was 100 miles. One had a radius of 52, the other of 60. This adds up to 112. But the distance is only 100 miles, so 112-100, means that 12 miles must overlap.

There's a picture of it posted somewhere on this thread.

I dont' get the 171/900 one. (100-->999 one) can someone explain it? I got 99/900, but it wasn't any of hte choices.

100-109, 200-209, .... = 10*9 = 90 numbers

1x0, 2x0, .... = 9*9 = 81 numbers

90+81=171

tubaman, just count
100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170, 180, 190
there are 19 terms
now multiply that by 9 as there are 9 of these cycles from 100 to 999 so 9X19=171

wow...

I only used 101, 201, 301... I wasn't thinking.

And I looked at it twice too! mannnnnn

OMG i hate myself...all i counted was the 100, 110, 120, 130....forgot 101, 102...202..406...OMG

Yea, I only counted 100, 101... 110, etc. and not 120, 130, 140... etc.

Anyone remember any other answers/questions?

I think it's kinda funny how we all had the same concerns about the same questions.

more reading and science questions please!

the easiest way to do that question was

900-(9 x 9 x 9) = 171

900 = total #'s 100-999
9 x 9 x 9 = possible digits for hundreds, tens, and units digit such that there is no 0.

what do you guys mean by the april "curve"?

do you think the april curve will be generous, hopefully on reading? :)

after every test, everyone says theres gonna be a major curve and there never is, its always really really small, so i dont think we should expect much
