5 AP classes junior year?!?!

I am transferring out of a large catholic private school in Miami to a small public high school in Wyoming, and my schedule is crazy. I am taking:
AP Physics
AP Literature and Composition
AP Calc BC
AP Us History
AP Chem

Is this crazy? I plan on majoring in Pre-med and these are the classes my counselor recommended me taking.
The rest of my classes are not challenging at all, and I won't be all of them on the same day. My new school does block so we take four different classes every day.

You will probably do fine. My son is finishing sophomore year with 6 AP’s. He takes a total of 8 classes but there’s no AP PE or Driver’s Ed. Coming from a private Catholic school you’ll probably find a public school a bit easier. I’m assuming you are a top student so I wouldn’t worry. If you are a procrastinator I guess the above schedule would be tough. Are you a sophomore, junior or senior? If you’re a junior or below why not save the physics for senior year?

I’m planning on taking AP Physics 2 senior year

If you think you can do well go for it. But don’t do it “just because your counselor told you to do it” It doesn’t sound too unmanageable given that you have the block system, but do what feels right to you.

If you aced Calc AB, then it should be manageable. Lit and US ate major reading classes, and 2 AP sciences won’t be a picnic. Have you made inquiries about the teachers? I’d check their websites from this year to get a feel for the work load. And It’s start reading the Lot books now. :)

No language class?

Just make sure your school work isn’t going to get in the way of your clubs/sports/job/social life. And I’d recommend that you have a study hall in your schedule.

How many APs does your school have? If they only have 7, you shouldn’t take that many as a junior

Go for it @BellaaaaaAlv‌! I believe in you; you can do it!

If you add Pre-AP German 3 and Orchestra you’d have D16’s 11th grade schedule.

I’m planning to take five AP classes next year in my Junior year, too. My sister was able to get by in both junior and senior years with five AP classes in each with with mostly "A"s. That’s not to say that it won’t be hard, but if we put in the time and effort, I’m sure it’s possible. I also feel like the block schedule will make the homework and classes more manageable than it would be at other schools.
