5th time? I know i screwed up

<p>am most likely going to sign up a 5th time. yes, i know im stupid. No need to tell me that</p>

<p>1st time 1870.
3rd time 2090
4th... 2030 bah</p>

<p>i was scoring 2200+ consistenly... but i did bad oh well. I need to make the most of my situation now</p>

<p>for DEC im going to study the barrons 3500 word list. already did 500 words today. I am trying to raise my CR the most (640) its all i care about</p>

<p>I have 730 MATH, 720 WR, (800) math level IC subject test.</p>

<p>I already applied to michigan(instate) and stanford EA...</p>

<p>i really want to go out of state to a small college with a close knit community. I just dont really want to end up going to michigan, or a college worse than michigan. because its already a good college</p>

<p>how bad would it be to get a 2200+ on your 5th try? i wont submit my scores if i do bad. And, would i have chances at top colleges chicago/duke/washU/harvard/rice/princeton if i get my 2200+ on the 5th try? My EC's are ok. I have passion in one thing that I like to do really well. And, my common application personal statement is very strong as i have been told by several people who have read it. It shows me and puts my life and thoughts into perspective.</p>

<p>How can you be so sure that you'll get 2200+ this time?</p>

<p>don't do it!!! you'll be messing up your chances of getting into those schools. They will look at your scores and ask why you took the SAT so many times. You could be doing something else with that time. Plus....you haven't been consistently increasing, so that's another negative. And you will have to send the scores of the 5th sitting because none of your SAT scores are held back</p>

<p>^ Yeah, seriously. I didn't think I'd doing it a couple times, but after doing it for the first time yesterday, I'd REALLY like to avoid going through that again!</p>

<p>one time was enough to almost give me a heart attack. Good thing I don't have to do it again...Man do I feel lucky</p>

<p>my 2nd test was 1900</p>

<p>and my 3rd was 2090</p>

<p>and i was scoring 2200+ on practice tests b4 the oct test. I just had a mental breakdown... i got so nervous... ended up changing 2 right CR answers to wrong ones.. and just messing up one of the easiest maths ive taken badly.. writing no clue what happenned</p>

2nd - 2080
3rd - 2180
4th - awaiting.. hopefully 2250 + but who knows/.</p>

<p>i feel like the only chance i have to a top college from the list above will be if i get 2200+? I just cant see myself getting in with 2090 :(</p>

<p>would i have a chance if i got my score? I know i can get 800 math/(700 CR) is great/ 800 writing i have chances if i write a good essay and get the M/C down</p>
