but that doesn’t mean that we have to send in the same essay to every college, right?</p>
<p>To all the CommonApp schools, you send the same one. One upload spot. It’s the common app, it’s trying to help you make your life easier, not write more. :)</p>
<p>you can send in the same main essay to every school and just about everyone does that. but if you really want to change the essay for one or more schools the common app allows you to do that. After you submit to your first school, you can save different versions of your app for future schools. look in the applicant faq on the common app site for instructions how to do this.</p>
