6 People to a Bathroom in Suites?

After using live chat, I've learned that each Suite has 6 people in it (assuming they're triples) and has a single bathroom. This sounds sort of bad, as I would imagine there would be long waits for showers/using the bathrooms. I'd like some confirmation of this fact and comments on if it sounds worse than it really is.

Well first off, people normally do not shower at the same time. Also, there are two sinks and each toilet/shower has a door between them as well. It's not as bad as it sounds.

I was assigned to Rieber Terrace/triple. Live chat descibed the same set-up to me too. I was under the impression that there are two rooms that are adjoined by a bathroom, correct? There's no "suite" area, is there? In other word there's no living space other than the dorm room and the bathroom.

Suites have a living area, Plaza's don't

Sharing a bathroom with three others is not that bad, I've had maybe 2-3 conflicts the whole year.

Now with five others it could be rough, especailly if you're a girl..

Got It! Thanks

I live in a suite with five other people and it's not a big deal at all.

in the plaza buildings where two rooms are connected by a bathroom, it's not a bad situation. it's not like the entire bathroom is one room with one door: the shower has a door, the toilet has a door. completely separate entities.
after this year, i'd rather be sharing a bathroom like that with 5 other girls than sharing my private bathroom with just my two roomies. because it's like your bathoom at home: if someone's using the shower, i can't brush my teeth. if someone takes 2 hours in the shower every morning, i have to plan my schedule around her...
...which gets really annoying. a "shared" not "private" bathroom will NOT be like that! :)

ive had to share with six this year and it has NOT been a problem.

I'm worried too. I've been on choir trips and other school stuff where I had to share a room with 3 others girls min. We always had problems scheduling morning showers. I take a 5 minute shower, then another 5 to get dressed and stuff but I always had a problem. If I said I'd go last, someone would take too long and I'd be the one in trouble because I was late a few minutes. On the other hand, I'd have to wake up an hour earlier than I normally would to make sure I got a shower in before we left. I'm really worried something like this will happen in a shared.

Oh, and I come from a neat freak family so dirty bathrooms annoy and disgust me. My mom says with 5 other people, one of them is bound to be a slob. Any problems with messy co-bathers?

I had the same problems on school trips. We had to rush showers and have a schedule when 6 of us shared an Embassy suites room. In college everyone is probably on a totally different class schedule and so hopefully you can get enough time in the bathroom everyday without problems and I think housekeeping cleans the bathrooms once a week. Still, it seems like 6 on a bathroom is not ideal. I think all the dorms were not designed to be triples. UCLA just decided to pack us in that way. I sure wish there were more doubles.
