65% admit rate=avg act of 28??

i was looking at the website and it sayz that madison has 65% admittance rate...and yet they still manage to keep their average stats up. this really confuses me then in terms of my chances. i posted this b4 but if neone else can give me an opinion thatd be great!

what do u think??

50-50. Maybe a little better.

I think you will get in...

I got accepted.

African American/Native American
ACT - 23
GPA - 3.8
IB Programme
Out of Illinois (also)

...but I got it through scholarship that included acceptance.

Madison is pretty hit or miss on ACT scores. For the most part, if you dont hit above 27/28 ACT, you dont have much of a chance from what my GC says. But who knows, everyone at my school applies.

I am planning to apply

applicant from Nepal

SAT M800 V690
SAT II
Writing 590
Chemistry 800
Maths IIC
rank 10/83
A-levels 3A 1B

what are my chances if I apply ??

Class rank is probably the most important part of your application. If you're top 10% you're pretty much in.

Well, in the case of UW which probably wants to increase its international membership, being from a relatively unrepresented country like Nepal may be a hook...
