Very rigorous course load - 5 AP's 6 Hrns and additional Science Courses, 4 yrs French

Lots of Volunteering
Good Essays and Recommendation Letters
Ethinicity - South Asian Female
WI Resident

My GPA fell from 3.82(begin Junior year) to 3.702 (begin Senior yr) due to lots of hard courses and no study hall in Junior year. I even quit band to accomodate many science classes junior yr.

What are my chances - Admit, Postpone or Deny???

I am super worried.

Admit!

First off, 5 APs does not denote a “very rigorous course load.” You’ll get in though because it’s Madison. It’s not like it’s hard to get in. Honestly, look at their freshman profile; you fall in the mid-50–even with your lower GPA.

Veggie- you seem to be a rather harsh judge of UW in your posts. The rigor of a course load is dependent on what is taken relative to what is offered at a school, btw.

OP- it doesn’t pay to worry. You have applied, now enjoy your senior year. Continue to do your best to show you can handle the work- improve your gpa with stellar grades this semester.

Admitted… got the news today!!!
