(_.·´¯`·«¤° sticky paper help °¤»·´¯`·._)

i stuck a flag onto the windscreen of my car (not the flag, but that little stand which supports the flag) using double-sided tape. yesterday when i removed the stand, a thin layer of the sticky tape got stuck to the car and wouldn't come off. what is the best way to remove that layer without damaging the windscreen?

You need WD-40: the Alkahest.

this is such a pretty title!

hehe thanks! i love to decorate my texts, except that i might get banned if i do it too often.

mhc48, i have only WD-40, the blue yellow can with red top, will that work? i'm so afraid it'll damage the glass (in which case the car will be revoked by my dadyy)

What about Goo-Gone? My grandma has it and sticky stuff comes right off.

WD-40 and Goo Gone are both safe to use. Also, just soaking windex on it will soften up the sticky part a bit.

i tried WD-40 but it's not working :( what about thinner? is that safe to use?
