a darn B on my mid-year report

Would a B on my mid-year report ruin my chance at Elite colleges?

I don't think one B will hurt you:)

No

tencharacters

how much will it hurt your rank?

they'll use your rank from the midyear reports

um, omg-get-a-life?

You are either

a) stupid for asking such a question, as a reasonably intelligent person who has done enough research would be able to answer this

b) conceited and arrogant

Either way, this is a dumb question

You might as well revoke your applications right now

I'm happy when I get a B...

yea community college is where you're headed

If you alreayd applied top schools and got accepted, they dont even care if u have straight B's. If you get a C they will usually send 1 letter (unless this is in a math class), 2 c's 2 letters, 3 c's possible revoke of your application. Less than a dozen kids get there applications revoked a year at each of the top notch schools.

As Radon and DIABLO2FAN have mentioned, B = baaadd.

thanks guy for all your posts, i pulled off an A!!!!!! =D

Okay here is my sob story. I came to a new school in Texas this year and it was tough at first to fit in because I had never been new before. So my grades dropped due to other stress and I got 1 A and 3 B's. Rest of the year I've been making straight A's and I currently have 100's in both of my core classes for this semester. That first semester will always hold me back. We have four semesters though so I have hope if I get straight A's the rest of the time which I'm thinking is going to be the case.

Oh and here is the high achiever grade scale.

A=Adequate
B=Bad
C=Crappy
D= Done for
F= Failure

Come on, one B isn't gonna kill you. They take the average of your grades for your gpa-- RELAX.

Hey anthony wut do u mean "If you get a C they will usually send 1 letter (unless this is in a math class)" i got a C in algebra 2/trig wut will that do?
