<p>i am a straight A student but on the second quarter of my midyear report i got a B in AP Chemistry (this is an extremely hard course!) The first marking period i got an A- in it so i went down a significant amount. HOwever, from first to second marking period i also went up from a B+ to an A- in AP Calc and from an A to an A+ in Spanish 5. Everything else stayed the same. How do you think this B could affect me at such schools as Gtown (NHS), Duke, Bowdoin, and Dartmouth?</p>

If they'd already decided to reject, they'll send you TWO rejection letters. If they hadn't looked at your application yet, well... now they know they won't have to.</p>
