I have been accepted to brown as a first year, and on the website, it mentions that "housing will send offers for rooms" to the selected students.

I was wondering if these housing offers require some kind of mail-back response etc, and if they're time-sensitive
[I'm going out of the country next week and won't have access to my mail for a while]

Is there anyone in Brown that I can contact about the housing offer?

Your offer will be sent in July with the other first year housing offers as timelined at virginia.edu/housing - it would be Housing who you need to contact if the July date is not agreeable with your travel schedule.

Welcome to Brown!! Please facebook/pm me if you have questions! I’m the female webmaster, my name and email is on the brown website under “governance roster” …edit: also, my facebook username is what you think it is. This will be my 4th year living in Brown so I should be able to answer pretty much anything you throw at me.

Haha…I checked on the 15th and saw a list already up and thought it was for this year’s selections. I figured I was rejected, so I gave up all hope but then I got an email from housing on friday and was so surprised.

Congrats! That was very nice of housing. They’ve had some iffy relationships with us, like messing up everyone’s roommate requests and losing room change requests a year or two ago, but things appear to be better now…
