Okay... so... here's the deal. I halfway-really screwed up this semester, and now I have two 50's in my classes. So I opted for pass/fail for one of them, and for the other, I'm just going to take the blow. However, I have A's in the other three classes I'm taking. Both of those classes are 100-level classes for general education. Do you think that will matter in the grand scheme of things? Like, when I get to grad school? I'm an English major, and I have an A in my English class & I'm a women's studies minor and I have an A- in that class. And Japanese is my elective, and I have an A in that one, as well. On top of that, I have a 3.3 average from a class I took here in high school. So I'm just wondering if graduate schools are going to care a whole lot about my first semester here at my new college. It took me a while to adjust because, well for one, as soon as I left home to go to school, EVERYTHING went awry. And secondly, the courses here are SO much harder than the courses back in my old school. So I had to adjust to that, as well. So... yeah. Just. Please help. Thank you (:

Don’t worry about this. Just keep on cranking out the work, and bring your GPA up next semester. Since you have As in some of your classes, I expect that the future will be better than the past.

Good luck!
