A Good Plan?

Right now, I'm a University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign student majoring in biology and minoring in Spanish. I'm a freshman and am unsure of what I want to major in, but I know I want to minor in Spanish. I chose biology because I enjoyed it in high school, but after reviewing career prospects, I am thinking about changing majors. However, I am also possibly interested in Physical Therapy, and am going to shadow this break. Here is my idea now: I will major in Economics (which is not part of the Business School at UIUC), minor in Spanish (this is something I know I want to do.), minor in Business (there is no specific business minor like an accountancy minor or finance minor at UIUC, just plain Business), and also take the physical therapy pre reqs. I worked out a 4 year plan schedule for myself and I AM able to complete all of this in 4 years (and that even includes not taking any summer school classes). I would be taking on average 17 credit hours a semester, and in my junior and senior year I would be taking three or four 3XX and 4XX level classes. Does this seem feasible? The reason I would want to major in Economics is because I feel this would give me better job opportunities and it gives me greater flexibility with my class selection.

Any advice, comments, or additional questions is appreciated.

bump bump…

If your main goal is pt and you are interested in bio, then stick to bio
