A good sign?

Last month a McGill admissions counselor emailed me asking me about a high school transfer I made after the first semester of my senior year. Basically I wanted to move back home, and left on good terms. Would they have done this no matter what? Or do you think this means I have a shot. McGill is my number one school and I would be really happy if I got in.

GPA, SAT/ACT scores please…

3.4 2000/32 Already accepted to Lehigh with half ride. Hispanic, diversity candidate.

A 32 on the ACT is competitive regardless of faculty; now, a 3.4 GPA? A 3.4 GPA, coupled with a 32 on the ACT, is competitive for Arts, Agricultural/Environmental Science, Dietetics/Human Nutrition, Nursing, Education, CivE, MinMatE, ECE, GenE, as well as physical/earth sciences, math and CompSci. If you applied to any one of those units, then it is a safety.

If you wanted to attend McGill for something other than STEM or FMT, attending it full-freight costs about the same as Lehigh on a half-ride; FMT is no-tuition, only room, board and student fees, while STEM is $31k in tuition alone.
