A great example of the cool stuff going on at Cornell...

Cornell Professor Jon Kleinberg receives 2005 MacArthur 'Genius Award'

<a href="http://www.news.cornell.edu/stories/Sept05/KleinbergMacArthur.bpf.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.news.cornell.edu/stories/Sept05/KleinbergMacArthur.bpf.html</a></p>

AWESOME I want to go for Computer Science :)

He substitute taught my CS/ENGRI 172 class last Monday....and he teaches CS280 (Discrete Structures, I believe), so he actually does teach. And he does seem like a real genius in person as well...

Oh and he's a Cornell grad ('93).

Man. I wanna meet this Genius guy. I so hope I get in as a transfer.

that's great for him, but i'm still looking out for Bill Nye!

Bill Nye is quite possibly the best known cornell alum if you think about it. bill nye or john stewart

i thought john stewart went to william and mary

Sparty,

I think you're thinking of Bill Maher...

as for most famous (infamous) I'd vote for Annie Coulter (former Delta Gamma Sorority Girl)

or perhaps Janet Reno, Sandy Berger, or Ruth Bader Ginsberg...
