I think Fleury is still way too inexperienced and young to be an elite starter that he has a potential to be. I think that's why they got Thibault, but he has proven himself to be one of the worst goaltenders in the entire league.

So.... that coupled with any lack of defensive defensemen... is a formula for missing the playoffs, which is really too bad.

He is doing a commendable job, especially as a 24-year old sophomore in the league.

However, he still has lots to learn. He needs to back-up a veteran or established goaltender. He is not starter material quite yet (esp. mentally)

u can only blame the canucks, considering boston has noronen available, boston has raycroft or toivonen available, and phoenix has boucher available...

Raycroft is definitely an option. I doubt Boston will trade Toivonen.

Also, Biron from the Sabres is also an option. As for Boucher, doesn't he make a lot of money? I'm not 100% sure on this, but he might not fit under the cap.

lol boucher? phoenix is damn poor, and i believe he was hurt in his arbitration year ;) about biron, probably not gonna be traded since he's been so much better than biron lately

speaking of successful hockey products of cornell...has anybody ever heard of this guy named ken dryden? Might have been a goalie i think...lmao ;)
