A little confused about how to send scores

I'm planning on applying to UNC for EA soon, but i am a little confused about how to send my ACT scores. I thought I had to send them through the ACT organization and pay the 8.50 to have them mailed to UNC, but then i think i read something on UNC's website (can no longer find where this info is) that said just to call the ACT organization and they will send it electronically so we dont have to pay. soooo which way do i send them?...I dont want to mess this up. Thanks!

I suspect you recollection is in error. If it were that easy (and free) everyone would simply call ACT rather than pay the fee. I suggest that you follow the directions at: http://www.actstudent.org/scores/send/index.html

Note that phone service costs an additional $12.

I guess i just misread that information on the website, but its no big deal to pay the money to have it sent anyways as long as thats what they want. Thanks for the response.

when in doubt, CALL the admissions office for instructions. THey are very helpful.
