A little heads up for anyone who uses contacts..

ReNu is recalling their products that contain MoistureLoc. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I figured I'd tell anyone who uses those, as if you go blind you can't enter a SA. I use the solution (not anymore, after reading this I just went to Kmart to get a different brand) and I recently got a new type of contact which irritates my eyes, so I'm a little antsy. Sorry if you consider this a pointless thread, if so just let it die.

Wow I feel lucky now. I just got done using a bottle of that stuff, got it for free, and it made my eyes red and ichty as hell. I only used it for a couple days untill I went back to my good old Opti-Free. Thanks for the heads up!

I had heard about this issue before. Luckily, I was born with Opti-One rather than renu. Thanks for the heads.

I'm also a long-time user of Opti-Free. I tried several brands including ReNu one time but I found Opti-Free most comfortable and it was also recommended by several doctors so I've been using it since. But yeah, thanks for the heads up, I won't be using their product for a while.

opti-free all the way!

Generic here.

I just take my eyes out at night and let them soak with my teeth! :D

yea, i use opti-free, but my girlfriend used to use Renu

This is pretty bad for their company, because i mean, eyes are PPRETTY important
