Alright, so my schedule for next year is:

AP Cal BC
AP Physics C
AP Macro/Micro
AP Government
AP Spanish Lit
AP English Lit

and either
AP Chem OR
AP Stats...

I'm not sure which I wanna take- I've heard chem is a lot of work, and though it'd be good to take... is it worth it? I'm already taking a pretty heavy schedule ;

Don’t you dare take either of those child! Relaaaax. That is already a ridiculous course load. RIDICULOUS. And you have an AP science and an AP math, so why do you need two? That’s superfluous, excessive, unnecesary, gah! Honestly, if I were you, I would drop either AP Econ or AP Gov and take AP Chem. More useful in my opinion.

Don’t do it… enjoy your senior year. Don’t make it stressful

Take off AP gov and AP spanish, take AP chem.

Having taken both classes in one year, I can say that AP Economics is more useful than AP Government because Macro and Micro are easy to learn concurrently. The same cannot be said for U.S. and Comparative. I honestly liked both courses and would not recommend eliminating either. But if someone pressures you into dropping one for something else, I would suggest, strategically, dropping off Gov.

I think your schedule would be made unnecessarily difficult with Chemistry added in. Even without Chemistry or Statistics, it is very strong. In fact, it is probably too strong. You don’t want your grades or outside school life to falter this late in high school! And remember, you have to have some time to prepare for the exams, even if you have no trouble with the material!

hmm, well, dropping gov or micro/eco is not an option :P…

so, chem is a lot of work? x.x

I wouldn’t say AP chem is quite a lot of work, it depends if the objectives are either difficult of easy for you. Our valedictorian breezed through the course with A’s on every test the teacher gave and received a 5 on the AP without much effort(he made all of us nervous when he was done in like 40 minutes…) . It just really depends if you like chemistry. AP stats is easy to self-study for, but AP chem is a bit of a challenge without a solid foundation in the course.
