A&M dorm choices?

Hi,

I am on the verge of being accepted as a freshman fall 2012 and I want to plan ahead so i can apply for housing ASAP to make sure I get my first choice. I wanted some opinions on the halls I picked out.

I DEFINITELY want the single suite with the connecting bathroom. I want to be social but i really like the idea of having my own room to go to sleep in at night.

I have picked Hughes - FHK, Keathley-FHK and Schumacher. These all met the single suite requirement and have wireless internet throughout the hall. Which of these do you think are best or have I completely left an option out that would meet my criteria? I went through the whole list so I don't think i missed one, but its possible. I will also be going into Electrical Engineering if that helps in any way.

Thanks!

That’s the link to all the dorms and their features.

I am aware of that list, but it can only tell me so much. I would like to hear personal insights from people who have stayed here for the pros and cons of each.

If you’re an engineering major, most people will encourage you to apply at Mosher since it’s for engineering majors only and has the Learning Living Center for first-year students. However, it’s not single suite; you share a bathroom with your roommate and 2 people in the adjoining suite. It is in the Commons which is very popular with 1st year students.
