A non-UC-transferrable class I got an F from

I changed my major from art animation to psychology but I got an F on an art class (Computer Assisted Drawing). It's not one of the IGETC's nor is it in any requirement for my major, and it's also only CSU transferable. I'm planning to transfer to a UC and I know it will still show on the transcript but will it still hurt me? I also have like five W's (life drawing/illustration classes) but they're also only art classes that don't relate.

I realized in the middle of the class I got an F on that the major really wasn't for me but it was too late to drop. About the W's, after the F my family had a major income problem so I had to work full time to help out and forgot to drop the classes before the deadline where it won't show the W's. Does anyone think I can explain this in my personal statement as well?

If not UC transferable then it won't hurt you. Make sure by going assist.org.

I am sure it's not in the requirement but my concern is, what if the admission analysts look at the F and think that it means I had been slacking off or didn't take the class seriously. That's a bad conduct.
