<p>Nope, no doors to be opened. MIT has zero likely letters. In fact, MIT's admissions is as close to ideal as possible.</p>

<p>I find the whole idea of a likely letter weird. Why don't they just send an acceptance letter?</p>

<p>Ivy League rules about no poaching (trying to accept people early to win their heart first). So instead of early notification they have early probable notification. <em>giggle</em></p>
