A Provactive Perspective

Hi everyone! It's great to see everyone working hard to transfer to UC's this year. California and the world needs more educated professionals to rebuild our national and global economy.

I'm applying for transfer to several UC's but I have my hopes set on UCSD. No UC campus can really compete with La Jolla. It's got it all, the beach, sunny weather and of course Mexico is not too far away for those weekend surf trips down to Baja. :)

A few things about me:

I'm a Philosophy major (cogito ergo sum) :D

I work as a warehouse manager at a carpet store.

I'm in the water at least a couple times a week freediving and spearfishing. I love to read books about minimizing waste (Lean thinking, Taiichi Ohno). I also try to make the world a better place by picking up trash and helping people that look like they need help but are too shy to ask.

I have a few questions for those who have more knowledge then me on the application process.

1) Why does UC want to know my SS#?

2) If I have a TAG agreement with UCSD do I need to submit a Personal Statement?

ExNihilo

Your SSN lets them know you are who you really say you are
