<p>this goes for all uc's.
im wondering if the schools will care that i have a pretty wide range of major choices at different schools. for example, im applying to berkely as a undeclared/pre-bus., LA as an english major, irvine as premed, and sd as undeclared/biological sciences.
I chose pre-bus for berkely because i really want to end up in haas. i chose english for ucla beacuse im afraid i wont get in as a premed-bio major (i got a 690 on the bio sat ii's, and a 4 on the ap test). im afraid i wont get in sd as bio major since i think its pretty impacted.
im greatful for anyone who can shed light on my current situation.</p>
<p>First off, Letters & Sciences at the campuses won't care what you put down, since most kids change their majors 2-3 times. There is no such thing as a premed major -- Philosophy and Music majors have a higher % admitted to med school than do bio majors. Haas will only care about your Frosh and Soph grades once you maticulate to Cal.</p>
<p>From UCLA's website:</p>
<p>"Freshman applicants to the College of Letters and Science are reviewed without regard for major. Therefore, no College of Letters and Science major (including Undeclared) is more or less selective than any other." </p>
<p>Play to your current strength, or mark undeclared.</p>

<p>That was my same question..lol.</p>
<p>About the UCs, if it's within the same college, in general, it doesn't matter what you put down.</p>
