Do you know anyone that's had an unfurnished CV apartment? How was their experience with that? Did they have any issues with furniture/fitting furniture into the bedrooms, etc?

I'm thinking of trying to get an unfurnished apartment so I can bring my own bed. I mean, the beds here aren't particularly bad, but after sleeping in my own bed at home for a couple nights this past weekend, I realized how much I like it. I can actually fit it and a desk into the space normally alotted for a desk and bed in CV, well more or less, so I'm hoping it won't be too bad. It's also cheaper, which is always nice.

i knew a few friends that liked it better. they put in their own furniture, and it looks really good with the place. there wasnt anything noticeably different compared to a furnished unit.....but you never know....

i thought it looked great though

I was wondering about this myself. Originally, I was going for an unfurnished apartment at CV. But I think I'm just going to go for a furnished one because I don't think I want to endure the hassle of buying more things and worry about how I'm going to take it all there. I'll save all of that for when I live off campus 2007-2008.

If you're only bringing furniture that you already have at home, getting an unfurnished apt would seem to be very cost efficient. Unfortunately I can't do that since I'll be home here in SD every (other) week and need my bedroom in one piece...Haha.
