a quick q...

will releasing a cd of me and a professional singer singing and using all profits to go to sending kids in india to school make up for bad SAT scores? i am aiming for HYP. I am a freshman, and took the SAT, and scored a 1600 (no studying, no nothing, mom told me im gonna take it that VERY morning lol). As you can see, im not much of a test taker. will releasing a cd of me and a professional singing make up for it??

thanks!!

o yeah, this type of music is carnatic, a classical indian music. i have placed nationally for this, and there are actually not too many male indian singers (compared to females).

thnx

Nothing will help make up for bad SAT scores. Colleges won't overlook that.

That said, top colleges are always looking for interesting people. This singing thing qualifies for very interesting.

Anyway, you're a freshman -- chill, study, and re-take the SATs.

Hmmm... test scores are not everything... but for HYP I don't think 1600 would cut it any way unless something like cure cancer was in your resume... and yes, we should do away with the cancer example but anyways. Everything counts and if singing/music is your passion then releasing the CD would affirm it but it cannot be a random list of ec's in which a CD released all of a sudden comes up. The point is study hard for the SAT and tell us more about yourself if you are really aiming for HYP.

Haha, I did'nt notice you were a freshman, in that case as taggart said, chill and relax and remember GPA is super important not just standerdized.. bleh spelling... or GPA.. its the package that makes you, you.. and yeah I stole that from somewhere lol
