I know that this is terrible, but I must have edited the sentence and somehow missed the ridiculous error. Will this do huge damage to my chances of getting in? Duke is really prestigious, and I feel that this is just not acceptable for them.</p>
<p>Oh come on. Have a bit more confidence in the admissions people. I’m sure they won’t throw you into the reject pile just because of that one error (assuming the rest of your application is up to par). We’re all people. They’re not expecting applications to be flawless. No worries, mate.</p>
