So I am currently in my senior year and am taking all my classes at UW madison.

I have gotten almost all A's in every class, including all the AP's my school offers, as well as 5's and 1 3 on the AP tests. I have also taken 2 other college classes (junior year) and received A's. However, this year one of the classes I am taking is multi var. calc (for those who don't know what that is, it is basically the class right after calc bc. only math and physical science majors need it, i want to be a bio and lit major so why am i taking this? im dumb, thats why) The horrible problem that has come up is that I could potentially get a C in the class (for the first time in my life im hoping for a b.... fail). This is kinda surprising considering i got a 5 on the bc test without studying all year (and A's in the class). I guess I am wondering with a pretty good app (awesome recs, essays, 35 act, 800s on all SAT 2's inluding math2, fairly good extra currics) how bad would this C look? Would it be worth sending some sort of letter explaining it? It wouldn't drop my gpa below a 3.9, but it is still a c....

Colleges in interest are ivies, places like duke, stanford, MIT, jhu, etc.... top libral arts colleges (i dont see the point in paying lots of money unless its a top tier school)

Any comments appreciated =D

O, and the rest of the college courses are going fine with steady A's.
