A significant other that hurts your chances

<p>(I didn't really know where else to post this question, I thought it best fit here)</p>

<p>My parents always harangue me about how dating in high school is distracting and can affect your grades. They claim that dating takes over studying, and will result in a less than perfect GPA. </p>

<p>Having said that, do you know anybody or are you somebody that dated in high school and got into a good school? (Good as in Ivies, MIT, etc.)</p>

<p>Dating CAN take over studying. If you limit yourself and make studying a priority then of course it’s possible to date and go to a good school</p>
