A Toast to Appreciation!

Well, I finished my interview a few hours ago, and I would just like to thank MIT for allowing all us applicants to really be able to show ourselves through the wonderful EC's.

Today, I was worried that I was going to mess up, not show everything I wanted to show, say everything I wanted to say, or just fail in general. My EC was a great man. We laughed, he let me just show what kind of a person I am and who I'd like to be.

Not only that, but my parents got along great with him as well and he answered all their questions respectfully and fully, and they really appreciated that.

MIT should be proud it has such wonderful people and that they continue to do this great work. I am grateful for such people and how much it will help me this year.

Here's a toast to everyone applying and the admissions officers and the EC's, as well as MITChris, mollie, oasis, LauraN, and all the other wonderful people on the forum!

clink glasses

hint: there’s an interview thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/massachusetts-institute-technology/985529-interview-guide.html

But congrats on getting your interview done!

no alcohol allowed. ;)

Hey, toasts with sparkling grape juice are allowed on this forum. :)

And some of us are over 21, even by significant margins.

^And some of us live in countries where it’s already legal to drink ;)

^And perhaps some of us don’t care about the drinking age ;)

^And perhaps some of us agree with such sentiments ;)

Rats. You guys get to drink even though it’s still not legal at your age. I, on the other hand, while I can drink [and I really don’t care for it or like it, it’s the most overrated thing ever] can not drive alone yet, even though I’m sorta capable.
