Just wanted to wish good luck to all EA applicants :)

Good luck, people!

Alright, let's go for a one to one correspondence between those who post in this thread and those who get in. ;)

begging to get in

Ah im freaking out! Im gonna be so dissapointed if i dont get in X-(

if ( rahrah.isAccepted(caltech) )
{
rahrah.happynessEnsues();
rahrah.skipAroundRoom();
boolean yay = true;
}
else
{
rahrah.sniff();
rahrah.tear();
rahrah.sigh();
}

That's a funny one. XD

I'm not a applicant this year, but still good luck to you guys!

Yes, good luck! (As a RD applicant I'm afraid I must do without luck for the time being.)

(The Time Being appreciates your sacrifice.)

Perhaps the Time Being's manifestations should be recognized. Big shout out to those who spent their Time helping all of us uninitiated people. Some of the people that helped me: Ben Golub, Joe, Tokenadult, EllenF, flierdeke, and neapol1s(if I forgot someone, well you probably don't want to be associated with me anyways). You people are awesome.

I second that motion.

Yep, definitely thanks must go to Joe Caltech and Ben Golub. You've both been great. Thanks a lot.

I'll join with great pleasure the "Thanks Ben, Joe, Tokenadult, and all the people that helped us out" list.

I just submitted about an hour ago (15 minutes before midnight eastern time), so this seems like a good time to join the "I hope we get in"/"Thanks Ben, Joe, ect." list. I'm so glad to be done worrying if my essays need to be revised more.

Unsolicited advice for EA applicants: Go out this weekend and enjoy yourselves. Don't think about the application any more. You have done all you can do. Move on with your current life now. Don't sit on CC with baited breath trying to figure out when the decision will come in the mail. You'll know when it arrives; the mail carrier won't keep it a secret.

Wow, I'm really realizing how long the application process is. It seems like we just started and yet EA deadlines for NEXT YEAR are coming soon.

Lizzardfire - welcome to the world of old folks where time passes quickly. You are probably currently in the midst of seemingly interminable problem sets and midterms. However, when you reach my age, your entire college life will seem like but a nanosecond in time and you'll wonder why you ever thought the problem sets lengthy.

Good luck to you all. Rawwr. I should say that I don't have anything to do with the Time Being.

:-D

My son and I are visiting tech on Monday. He didn't apply early, but tech is his first choice. (He has this perfectionist application-avoidance thing going on.) If you see a skinny teenager with an aloha shirt and a Washington tan around campus on Monday, that will be my son.

my application has just been received! YAY!! WAAAAAAA-HOOOOOOOOOO!

crosses fingers

good luck all!
