A very confused out-of-state applicant

...about the a-g requirements, in particular. I'm filling out my application right now, and after typing in all my courses and grades, my a-g tally shows up as "0" for every category...

Huh? Since I'm out-of-state I'm a bit confused about the instructions for filling out that part of the application. Does the UC system look for specific course names, or something? Should I type "English" or "English II"? Since my school never had a "World History, Cultures, and Geography" class, should I substitute it with my Geography class and call it a day? Or am I completely missing out on some secret that all other out-of-state applicants share with each other?

If anybody has an explanation, I'll be eternally grateful :)

ummm, that tally shows the number of courses required (beyond what you have already entered in the form) to complete the a-g requirements. so, the 0 that you see in every category means that you have completed all required a-g courses. you don't have to type any specific name since there is already a drop-down box from which you have to select the category of the course. hope that was clear.
