About grade update + UC majors

Hi, Im in community college now, and amgoing to apply for fall 2009. The thing is that I had attended CSU for a year before I came to college, and I got 2 W's in CSU. So, I retook those courses and got A's. Do I have to go CSU I had attended and give them my transcript so they can update my grades? (my csu id is expired alrdy) or is it automatically updated since I came to college with my CSU transcript?
I asked counsellor and she said I have to go CSU and give them my transcript, but I doubt it.

Another thing is that some UC's like Santa Barbara and San Diego closed all majors in online application. Is it just temporarily closed? or officially closed?

Sorry for my english but hope you guys can catch what I'm trying to say.

Thank you for reading. have a great day

It is only closed if you have no major declared or you are trying to transfer with under 60 semester units (90 quarter units).

If you took it at a community college I highly doubt you can replace the W from your CSU based on a course you took at a community college. I mean you can call your CSU to find out but this is from what I know.

my gf was in a situation like this and she had to retake the course from the school she originally took it from. BUT the W's shouldn't have had any effect on your GPA anyways so I don't know what you hoped to gain by updating the transcript.
