Hi, even after reading everything I could find I have some questions about the MYR.

Firstly, I am an IB student, however in my school teachers grade students per our national grading system, that is from 1-10, so I really do not have proper IB grades until after the IB exams.
Secondly, due to the school policy I also study additional subjects outside the IB curriculum, so after I finish high school I will also receive the national Latvian certificate of general secondary education in addition to my IB diploma.
So the difficulty I am having is that if I fill in the application with just my IB subjects the grading system will not be that of standard IB, however I cannot fill in all the subjects I am taking with their corresponding Latvian system grades, because there is not enough space for all the subjects I am taking in the application.
Would it be appropriate if I wrote the subjects which do not fit in the application in the midyear updates section at the bottom and indicate the subjects which I also take at the IB level?
My counselor suggested that she could send my midyear report covering everything.
So in which way would it be preferable for me to fill in the application?

^The mid-year report is usually submitted by the school counselor. Since your counselor says it’s possible to put everything on the report, let the counselor send it in.

Other special circumstances?
Some schools – including many international schools – have no concept of “midyear grades.” This is okay. You can ignore the text boxes and simply choose the option, “I attend a school that does not provide midyear grades.”

Report your grades just the way they would appear on your transcript. No need to convert them to a letter system for example. If you need to explain your schools grading system, just put it in the updates section.

That’s just the thing. There is not enough space for me to report them as they appear on my transcript. I could add them at the updates section below, but I don’t know if it would be appropriate.
