About the whole "waitlisting" system...

You guys are giving yourselves high blood pressure by worrying. don’t worry  everything will work out. waitlists are great.

@92faim - Thanks for your detailed explanation - That really helps.

Okay so lets say I’m 7th waitlisted for a chem discussion that only has 40 spots… So I probably won’t get it? Crap…

The people from the nanoengineering department told me to waitlist for ECE 15, and that there going to move that class to a bigger room so more students could enroll

Should I just get out of the 7th waitlisted spot?

is MMW1 worth waitlisting for?

how likely is it that people will drop the class (considering everyone in ERC has to take MMW)?

should i waitlist for foster or just sign up for jordan?

I’m waitlisted #7 for a Math 20A class right now but there are other spots open. Should I drop my waitlisted class and add a class that’s open? If I did that would I be able to “crash” the class that I was waitlisted for and get in?

people worrying about #7 in chem:

you get in if you are waitlisted #10 and under. The chem department agreed to do it. Now for people like me (#12) we’re still in line no matter what so I might do the sit in plan.

It’s not awkward at all right? I have 3 classes within 3 hours between Math Chem and CAT with 10 minutes transportation time (but it’s between center, york and pepper canyon so I should be able to bike quickly) so I better explain that I may be late to the TA huh?

^You won’t be late if you’re biking.
