<p>hi, today i checked my sat score from May and it was 1310(CR+M) which is 29 in ACT score.
Can i get a golden scholarship? Requirement for this scholarship is ACT score 28-32 and at least 3.3 GPA. My GPA is good (like all As) but i'm worrying about my SAT score.

yes, I’m instate and i’m not sure but i’ll probably major in Chemistry or Biology…
I don’t wish to get a larger scholarship because, to get it, i need more time but i don’t since i’m taking a surgery this June…
do you know what score those kids who have gotten the scholarships got?</p>
<p>I’ve been awarded the golden excellence scholarship forthis comig year and I made a 28 on my ACT. My GPA stayed around 3.4-3.5ish all year.</p>
<p>I don’t think this is a competitive scholarship… I think it’s assured for stats…so you should get it.</p>
<p>That said…If your surgery goes well (best wishes for that! 
)…you should consider retesting this fall. The ACT is offered in Sept…and the SAT is offered in October. </p>
<p>Are you going to be pre-med? If so, be aware that UAB can be a “tough gig” for that…heavy weeding in the req’d pre-med courses.</p>
