Would it be wise to upload a scientific abstract under the additional info section? I wrote it at the end of the summer for my summer research, but it isn't the same research I'm currently doing.

doesn't really make sense to me... most people attach a resume or explain extenuating circumstances

Well, my "extenuating circumstances" are being explained in a letter from my counselor, and my resume doesn't really say much more than the rest of my application does about me. Plus my "extenuating circumstances" really didn't affect my performance at all so I don't really know why the colleges need to know, other than for financial purposes.

I am sorry I am "invading" your thread, but what exactly is or is not allowed in the Additional Information? I am attaching a resume and I was also wondering if I should explain why I am graduating at 19, not 18? (I started school late) Is that appropriate "additional info"?
